Agentic AI in the Workplace: Beyond Simple Automation
Most teams now have access to large language models in some form, often through a chat interface. Agentic AI goes further: instead of answering a single prompt, the system can plan, take actions, and iterate toward a goal.
In analytics contexts, that could mean an agent that fetches new CSV releases from Stats NZ, updates charts, and drafts commentary each month. Humans still approve and refine the narrative, but the repetitive plumbing is delegated.
